Anyone else here work a flex schedule or traditionally have Mondays free? I work Tues-Sat, so my Monday is a day to enjoy the weather and traverse a bit.
I'm kinda interested in either riding over to Marin or maybe taking Bartholomew over to the East Bay and riding there.
Let me know if you're game for that.

09/01Pick yer poison ... I tend to stay out late on Sunday nights (cuz it's my Saturday), but there's no reason I have to close the bars on Sunday night ... I could go early if y'all are inclined that way. -

09/05I'm gonna put this idea out there ... what about doing the Port Chicago ride? We'd take BART over to the Walnut Creek station, then do the ride that goes up to Martinez, etc. It's about 35 miles and takes about 3 hours.
My concerns? The heat, if we start that late in the day.
But, I did that ride about 15 years ago and remember it being quite nice. -

09/05Hmmm ... suggest another ride. I'd love to get out of the City. Would Marin be better? My fear about Marin is that it is going to be tourist-central tomorrow daytime.

09/11So, last Monday, I did that "ride around the city" thang. Quite fun. Didn't hear back from anyone about other suggestions, so I just took to the street alone. Left around 5:30pm and got a good 3 hour ride in (including a fun little stop down @ the beach).
This Monday, I'd be up for something similar. But, I'd rather not be on the computer all day Monday, so if we could plot something out either Sunday night or Monday morning, it would be great. Afternoon ride? -

09/15Generally I have Mondays free, always lookin' to ride. I'm in NY this Monday but if ya want someone to ride with next mon. call 415-368-2511 ( i check my email pretty sporadically).

And, I can't do this next Monday (9/20) cuz I'll be partying at Stinson Beach. But, the Monday after that (9/27) should be good.

10/09I'm with ya on that one, Spidey ... this coming Monday (Cristobal Colombo Day), I go to the eye doctor for the first time in 6 years ... and I'm well aware that I'm gonna need glasses this time around, so they've warned me that I can't ride my bike over to the optho's office, since I'm gwine ta be dilated on Monday.
The 18th sounds good, chilluns.
