Well, unfortunately once that many parts have been stolen off a bike, it is actually more expensive to buy replacement parts than it is to buy a brand new bicycle.
It's true that the Bike Kitchen could help you get something rideable cheap, but unless their parts selection has changed radically since I worked there, it wouldn't be anything like what your bike used to be.
Pedal Revolution could also help you rebuild it, but again it would cost more than a new ride.
The good news is that the 2006 bikes are coming in now, so check Ped Rev, Valencia, and Performance, and you'll probably be able to get a pretty good deal on one of the 2005s (paint is usually the only difference on the low end bikes.)
Your bike was stripped this badly while you worked, durring the day? You're sure you didn't lock it up overnight? Thats almost unheard of. What neighborhood do you work in? -

it was there overnight, but stripped during the day. it was all good when i left for work in the morning, and when i came home 8 hours later. all bad.
i live in noe valley. i should have taken it inside... i know it. -

I feel so badly for you, Tenderoni! They may as well have taken the entire bike! I had my first bike stolen when I was in the 2nd grade. It traumatized me for LIFE!! (...well, at least for the rest of the 2nd grade!)
Bicycle theives are the scum of the Earth! -

I have had a number of bicycles stolen in my life (mostly as a kid) and I even found one once...rusted up in the creek. What's the point of that?
I think a lot of people steal bikes just for the sake of stealing.
It sucks. -

i hear noe valley is a real bad neighborhood.

I had this "discussion" with my boss about the rise in bike theft. I remember reading an article in a newspaper about the rise in bike theft being directly related to the rise in the price of gasoline for automobiles. She thought this was a silly correlation, basically saying that someone who was too broke to steal a car wouldn't steal a bike.
I find the argument highly valid.
