was anyone closer to what happened when that car that hit the cyclist? at church and market? I was circling the intersection when I heard a *crunch* and I saw the car driving off and a person on the ground. did he just try to plow through everyone?

    from what I gathered the silver car blew through the intersection, driving over one bike before hitting the other guy. It was a little silver honda or something, the front windshield was smashed. The guy that got hit was up on the windshield for a bit with the car still going, then flew off. It looked like his legs got the worst of it, and he was swearing his ass of when they put him in the ambulance, which I took as a good sign.

      Any word on how he's recovering? Will he need some help in the interim?

      This totally freaked me out and I know that if it had been me, I would want fellow cyclists to keep tabs on my sitch. Anyone know his name?
