Writing Assignment: How I almost got arrested at the 15 year anniversary at Critical Mass.

There was a driver who was pissed, naturally, so he decided to get out of his car to harass the biker who was in front of him. I did not see what was said, but this biker was about 20 feet in front of the car, not like you normally see the bikes blocking intersections. As the Driver walked up to him I stopped, just to keep my eyes open. But another cyclist rode up to the Car and stuck his hand through the open window and honked his horn. I thought this was hilarious. The driver did not and went back to his car and grabbed this guy. Stupid move. 4 cyclists, myself included went up to him and tried to pull him off. I yelled, "LET GO OF HIM!" The driver said, "WE HAVE TO TALK!" I said, "YOU CAN TALK WHEN YOU LET GO OF HIM!" Now nobody was being hurt, nor was I intending on jumping this stupid guy who was about to be attacked by a bunch of bikers. All of the sudden somebody pulled me off the guy. It didn't even register to me that it was a cop for about a second. He yelled something like "GET OFF HIM." By the time I noticed he was a cop I realized I need to lay back, but my lips thought otherwise so I said, "HE GRABBED HIM!" and the cop said something like "THATS BECAUSE HE GOT OUT OF HIS CAR!" I was about to say something else because that did not make any sense. But then I realized that my fellow cyclist was gone and there were 3 other cops surrounding the driver. So I rode off. In reality it was probably a good thing that the cops came. That is my first serious run in with a cop. Very fun!

I made this set with Flickr because I didn't want to fill up the sparse picture section in this tribe with all my pics (so I just added one.) Hope you like them! Can't wait for next month's Mass, Halloween time!
